Visiting artist | Anjali Srinivasan

The Glass department welcomes back Dubai-based artist and entrepreneur Anjali Srinivasan MFA 07 GL, who has been working with molten glass since 2000. Srinivasan began exploring emerging and innovative technologies such as sensor control, remote tracking and responsive environments in 2006, combining molten glass with these advanced digital mediums to create sculptures, installations and performances. Recent research interests include topologies of a circle, entropy, data-driven cuisine and puffy glass. Her work has been exhibited at the Chrysler Museum of Glass, Dubai Design Week, the Hangzhou International Contemporary Glass Exhibition and the Heller Gallery in NYC, among others.
