Explore possibilities for personal healing through artistic action and methods of mending in conversation with the exhibition Repair and Design Futures. Led by artist Kat Chavez, this workshop takes artwork on view as a starting point for an examination of histories, experiences and emotions, culminating in collective art-making. Centering around women and folks with non-conforming gender identities, we'll explore how to reclaim actions of “domestic work” to promote recovery and healing.
Free. Pre-registration requested. Workshop series continues on February 10.
