Apparel Design Department Head Lisa Z. Morgan performs a stitched response to an array of “stray” feminine garments from the Museum’s Costume and Textiles Collection. Focusing on pieces too damaged, marked or simply not special enough to warrant being preserved behind glass, she hopes to address their state of invisibility and worthlessness, framing them in a new light.
