Panel discussion | Lifecycles for Social and Environmental Justice

RISD Research and Patagonia invite the RISD community to a panel discussion exploring the unique role that artists and designers can play as members of teams committed to finding more socially impactful modes of practice. Patagonia, founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, is a renowned leader operating at the tenuous intersection of business and activism. Among its many efforts, Tin Shed Ventures funds environmentally and socially responsible startups, “putting environmental and social returns on equal footing with financial returns and providing long-term patient capital that helps to support forward-thinking entrepreneurs for the long haul.”
