Kirloskar Scholar | Pallavi Paul | Painting Department

2017 Kirloskar Fellow Pallavi Paul’s primary mediums are video and installation. Her work refuses a pigeonhole and insists on new horizons. Using the disruption between "reality image" and "documentary" as a starting point, she attempts to create a laboratory of possibilities that tests the contours of fantasy, resistance, politics and history. She explores the tensility of nonfiction material by engaging mechanics of poetry, silence and time travel.

Hosted by the RISD Painting department and made possible by the Kirloskar Visiting Scholar in Painting Fund.  Event will be Livestreamed.
