Interactive light show | Pop Culture Color Theory

Assistant Professor of Graphic Design James Goggin launches RISD’s new Color Lab with his continuously evolving body of research on color as cultural code and commodity. Brought to life with a custom soundtrack and multi-screen projection, Goggin’s research connects a broad spectrum of serious and humorous thinking about color, from research in the hard sciences to images drawn from pop culture and music. Goggin’s presentation will be followed by the Color Lab’s inaugural ChromoDisco, so follow the lights and pulsing music and enjoy the post-lecture party.
