Professor Liliane Wong, head of RISD’s Interior Architecture department, speaks about the repurposed lives of religious buildings in conjunction with the exhibition Repair and Design Futures. Referencing a project from her Master of Design History of Adaptive Reuse class, a deck of cards is used as a catalyst for understanding the evolution of the reuse of this building type over time and across different structures of power.
