Jewelry artist Luci Jockel MFA 16 JM discusses her practice in relation to the current RISD Museum exhibition Repair and Design Futures, focusing on repairing our relationship with the environment. Speaking to colony collapse disorder—the phenomenon of bees leaving their hives—her “mourning jewelry” strives to strengthen the connection between humans and animals and commemorate the vulnerable lives lost. You are invited to explore the exhibition and silver galleries during this walk-through and engage with the artist’s wearable work.
