Faculty workshop | Translating Cognition to Kinesthetics
Workshop Description
This experiential workshop addresses the relationship between movement, embodiment, and teaching and learning methods. We’ll discuss the benefits introducing movement or body awareness into the classroom, both for building and maintaining class cohesion and a way to reinforce lessons and themes. After considering a range of movement or awareness practices, we’ll have time to plan what could be appropriate and engaging for our respective classes.
