Exhibition | Adaptive Ecologies
Please join us for Adaptive Ecologies: Building on Nature’s Blueprint, outcomes of the spring 2021 RISD + Hyundai Research Collaborative. On view through the end of December, the exhibition features research examining how structures of nature and new ways of making might shape the future of cities. Five keywords provided by Hyundai designers informed the research: lightweight, protection, hygiene, sound and sustainability. These prompts led to interdisciplinary projects: Bio-interactive Surfaces, Envisioning Futures, Fabric Connections, Urchin Futures, and Technologies, Natures, Societies.
