Visiting lecturer | DeLesslin George-Warren

The Liberal Arts division and Nature-Culture-Sustainability graduate program invite the RISD community to a talk by DeLesslin “Roo” George- Warren titled Food, Language and Land-based Education in the Catawba Nation, which will cover a brief history of his work and research. George-Warren will speak on current projects within their tribe, including language revitalization, food sovereignty and the Catawba Nation’s current vision to provide land-based education for tribal youth.
