The RISD community is welcome to attend the residency activities conducted by a special ensemble from the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra at the RISD Auditorium.
Workshop: Master Class for Student Jazz Ensembles
Wednesday, January 9, 2013
4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
RISD Auditorium.
Student jazz ensembles (2 to 8 musicians each, up to 40 total) will get the opportunity to work side by wide with the master musicians of the Jazz at Lincoln Center orchestra.
Select groups will get the opportunity to take part in the pre-show for Wynton Marsalis’ public concert at VETS on January 27th.
Free to attend.
